Do you have any of the following bottles? If you do, please email me at bonvivantbottlesalvage@gmail.com and I’ll be in touch for sure.
I’ve been hunting for over a decade and I still can’t seem to track any of these down:
Any unopened Brugal from the 1960s or 1970s. Over time I’d like to obtain several vintages to taste, analyze, and compare against. A decade from now you might see a long-form piece on it.
Any unopened Ron del Barrilito with an in-tact tax strip, the older the better. Again, over time I’d like to obtain several vintages to taste, analyze, and compare against.
Any early 1970s Barbancourt, back when the blend had more pot-still influence. I don’t even know if it’s true, just chit-chat I’ve heard from older Caribbean islanders.
I will pay moderately for 1970s era agricoles and Navy rums intended for the European markets.
Get ready for it- Pyrat Blanco. Yes, it was a real thing. It sold for 15.95 USD as recently as 2007.
It’s not rum but I’m interested in any unopened Hennessy bottle with a tax stamp. I still do it for my block, my big brother knows.
Have Armagnac you want to get rid of? I’m interested but only at fire sale prices.
Please note: I do not pay retail. I prefer to trade but I will spend reasonable amounts of money. My job requires me to travel often, road-trips up to 300 miles. If you are located within two to four hours of where I live we can make plans to meet to avoid a shipping and handling fiasco.
Again, if you have any of these for sale or trade please reach out to me at bonvivantbottlesalvage@gmail.com and let’s talk.
